Trend Micro Incorporated – Philippine Branch (“TMI”) is engaged primarily in anti-virus research, execute red alerts, provide support services to its head office and its customers and software development. TMI is looking for a JAPANESE TECHNICAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST, who will work with the marketing team and coordinate to marketers/campaign leads, other writers, editors, and graphic artists of the company.
Job Responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible in summarizing technical documents and marketing materials
- Handle translation from English to Japanese and vice-versa
- Translate marketing materials such as Blog entries, articles, research papers, periodic reports, and marketing kits, etc.
- Gather technical information about computer threats, data indicators
- Responsible in summarizing and translating documents regarding malware and security incidents, threat and core technologies to protect the users
- Coordinate with the Japan business unit
- Provides support to the team in maintaining the Threat Encyclopedia
Qualifications/Requirements
Job Requirements are:
- Native Japanese
- Bachelor’s Degree in any course
- With more than 2 years IT / Marketing expertise/Technical writer
- Excellent English competency with at least TOEIC 850 or other equivalent certificates or overseas degrees (Mandatory)
- With at least 1-year experience in technical and/or marketing document translation
- Must be computer savvy and familiar with MS. Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- With knowledge in HTML and WYSIWYG editor

Remarks
TMI intends to renew its engagement with Mr. Shimizu Kohei, a citizen of Japan, as TMI’s Japanese Technical Communications Specialist for a period of 2 years. Mr. Kohei is a resident of Antipolo City, Philippines who is able, willing and qualified to perform the services for which his employment is desired.For this purpose, TMI intends to file an application for renewal of the Alien Employment Permit of Mr. Kohei before the Department of Labor and Employment - National Capital Region, DOLE NCR Building, 967 Maligaya St., Malate, Manila.
