Accounting Manager
We're Hiring: Accounting Manager — Good Cup Coffee
Good Cup Coffee Company is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead the numbers behind our mission. Coffee is our platform to do good — and good coffee starts with clean, trustworthy books.
About Good Cup
We're a Cebu-born specialty coffee company on a mission to turn coffee into a cycle of good — from the people who grow it to the people we serve. From our roastery and cafés to our wholesale partners across the Philippines, every cup we ship is backed by a team that cares deeply about craft, people, and operational excellence.
As we grow, we need a finance leader who can match our pace — someone who keeps our books audit-ready, our compliance tight, and our team empowered.
The Role
As our Accounting Manager, you'll lead end-to-end accounting operations at Good Cup — owning financial records, reporting, and controls with accuracy, timeliness, and integrity. You'll report directly to the Head of Finance & Accounting and work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and Leadership to keep the business financially sound and always audit-ready.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves clean ledgers, respects deadlines, and wants to build systems that scale.
What You'll Do- Run the books — oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Own financial accuracy — maintain real-time records in Odoo ERP, deliver timely month-end and year-end closings, and enforce internal controls
- Keep us compliant — ensure full adherence to BIR regulations, PFRS accounting standards, SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG remittances, and internal audit requirements
- Lead financial reporting — prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports
- Coordinate across teams — partner with Operations on cost tracking, Supply Chain on vendor payments, HR on payroll, and Leadership on budgeting
- Lead and grow your team — supervise accounting staff, set priorities, coach through 1:1s, and build team capability
- Improve the system — document SOPs, tighten workflows, and continuously optimize the way Good Cup handles its finances
