What you'll be doing- Lead the design, planning, and implementation of structural engineering solutions for a variety of developments
- Conduct site assessments, analyse project requirements, and develop detailed engineering plans and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and construction personnel, to ensure seamless project delivery
- Monitor construction activities, perform quality assurance checks, and provide technical guidance to on-site teams
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, building codes, and engineering best practices
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and standards
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably within the real estate or construction industry
- Proven track record of successfully leading the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and engineering standards
- Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or equivalent certification is preferred
