About the role

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Sotogrande Hotel Resorts & Groups. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience throughout their stay.

What you'll be doing:

• Staff Management: Assigns duties, creates staff shifts, and provides training and orientation for new housekeeping personnel.
• Quality Assurance: Inspects rooms and common areas to ensure they meet strict company cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Inventory Control: Monitors stocks of cleaning products, linens, and room supplies, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages.
• Customer Service: Investigates and resolves guest complaints regarding housekeeping services in a fast and efficient manner.
• Compliance: Ensures all team members adhere to safety regulations, sanitation policies, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications/Requirements

What we're looking for:

• 1 to 3 years of proven experience in housekeeping or hotel operations, including prior supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Deep understanding of commercial cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and infection control protocols.
• Ability to monitor and track supplies, cleaning products, and linens to ensure the department is always stocked.
• Knowledge of how to spot and report maintenance or repair issues to the engineering or facilities department.
• Proficiency in housekeeping management software, basic scheduling tools and the systems.
• The ability to train, coach, evaluate, and motivate a team of room attendants and cleaners.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication to delegate tasks, handle guest complaints promptly, and coordinate room statuses with the Front Office.
• Strong time-management capabilities to draft employee schedules, assign daily tasks, and manage shifting work hours.
• The role is highly active and requires the ability to walk, stand, and occasionally lift heavy objects for extended periods.
• Willing to relocate to another hotel property (Davao)
