CNC Programmer

Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models;

• Analyzing the process, material sizes, and estimating the process time of the product;
• Creating the best process design based on customer requirements for jigs, tools, and programming strategy using CAD/CAM software application;
• Responsible for process sheet creation, documentation for the new model;
• Assisting the technician in production running to ensure that the product quality is within specification;
• Parts adjustment and correction of new product setup until accepted by QC;
• Troubleshooting of parts whenever it is needed to correct the problem encountered;
• Measuring the trial parts based on drawing, before QC inspection;
• Transferring the know-how to production operators and technicians on how to handle the new item;
• Responsible for program improvement, editing existing program if needed to improve productivity and quality of the part;
• Responsible for program safekeeping inside engineering safe files location;
• Monitoring the new product samples running in the machine;
