Continuous Improvement Staff
About the role
Philippine Bobbin Corporation is seeking a Continuous Improvement Staff to join our dynamic team in Rosario, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our commitment to operational excellence and efficiency. As a Continuous Improvement Staff, you will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity across our manufacturing operations.Your contributions will directly impact our competitiveness and our ability to deliver superior quality products to our customers. This role is based on-site at our Rosario, Cavite facility.
What you'll be doing- Identify and analyse inefficiencies in current manufacturing processes and workflows
- Conduct process audits and data collection to support improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement process improvement recommendations using lean and six sigma methodologies
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on improvement metrics
- Collaborate with production teams to pilot and refine improvement solutions
- Document standardised work procedures and best practices for consistency
- Conduct training sessions to ensure staff understanding and adherence to improved processes
- Support root cause analysis of production issues and develop corrective action plans
- Maintain detailed records of all improvement projects, outcomes, and lessons learned
- Liaise between operational teams and management to communicate progress and challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in continuous improvement, process optimisation, or manufacturing engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or six sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret process metrics and KPIs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with process mapping software
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems (preferred)
- Experience with statistical analysis tools or software (preferred)
