Building Maintenance Staff

Role Summary

The Building Maintenance Staff is responsible for maintaining the overall condition of the building, equipment, and facilities. This role includes conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting minor repairs, monitoring utilities, and ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for tenants, customers, and employees.

• Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of building facilities and equipment
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
• Ensure proper functioning of lighting, air conditioning, water systems, and other utilities
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas and facilities
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair concerns
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdown and operational disruptions
• Inspect building systems and identify safety hazards or repair needs
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers for major repairs and maintenance work
• Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and inventory of tools and supplies
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and building regulations
• Assist in emergency repairs and troubleshooting during operational hours
• Monitor utility usage and report irregularities or damages
• Support building improvement and renovation activities when required
• Ensure proper handling and storage of maintenance tools and materials
• Perform other maintenance and operational duties assigned by management

• At least High School Graduate or Vocational Graduate related to maintenance or technical work
• Experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or related field is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
• Physically fit and capable of handling maintenance tasks
• Responsible, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to work flexible schedules when needed
