About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team at FOUR HUNGRY PIGS INC'. As Accounting Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance across our operations in Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental.This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing- Supervising and coordinating the work of the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Analysing financial data, identifying trends and variances, and providing insights to support business decision-making
- Maintaining and improving accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to enhance the integrity of financial information
- Liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth audits and compliance
- Mentoring and developing the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Contributing to the implementation of new accounting systems and processes to drive operational efficiency
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in financial accounting and reporting
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
