JOB SUMMARY
As the QA & Automation Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of business applications, workflows, and system enhancements across the organization. You will design and execute quality assurance strategies, establish testing standards, and develop automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce defects.
You will work closely with Business Process Leads, Business Systems Leads, and business stakeholders to validate requirements, identify risks early, and ensure that solutions meet both functional and user expectations before deployment.
This role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a strong ownership mindset, capable of independently driving quality initiatives, automating repetitive testing activities, and continuously improving release confidence and system reliability.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Quality Assurance & Test Management- Develop and maintain testing strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional requirements, workflows, logic and process improvements.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate business requirements against delivered functionality.
- Track, document, and manage defects through resolution.
- Develop automated testing frameworks and reusable test scripts.
- Identify repetitive testing activities suitable for automation.
- Maintain automated test suites and execution schedules.
- Continuously optimize QA processes and testing efficiency.
- Participate in project planning and solution reviews to identify risks early.
- Conduct pre-release quality reviews and sign-offs.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, testing, and deployment.
- Support root cause analysis for defects and incidents.
- Ensure production issues are investigated, validated, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Validate fixes before deployment into production.
- Support business users during critical releases and system enhancements.
- Monitor & track recurring issues and recommend preventive actions.
- Initiate quarterly permissions and flow hygiene task to ensure compliance
- Promote quality-first practices across projects and teams.
- Maintain QA standards, templates, and best practices.
- Provide recommendations to improve system usability, performance, and reliability.
- Stay current with QA, automation, and AI-assisted testing tools.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- QA, Testing, or Automation certifications preferred.
- 3–5 years in QA, Test Automation, or Software Quality.
- Experience testing web, business, or workflow systems.
- Hands-on experience with test automation.
- Experience in Agile or project environments.
- Able to manage testing from planning to deployment
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, Postman, or similar platforms.
- Experience validating APIs, integrations, databases, and business workflows.
- Knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques.
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms such as Bubble, Retool, FlutterFlow, OutSystems, Mendix, or similar (nice to have)
- Strong documentation and process mapping skills.
