JOB SUMMARY
As the Business Applications Developer, you are responsible for designing, building, and optimizing business applications and workflows using low-code/no-code platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and deliver functional applications that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
This role requires a highly proactive and self-driven individual who can independently learn platform capabilities, take ownership of project end-to-end, and recommend technical solutions aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving complex workflow problems, and collaborating closely with stakeholders.
You will work closely with the Business Process & Analytics Manager to translate process improvement goals into scalable system solutions, bridging technical capability with operational needs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Application Development & Delivery- Design, develop, and deploy applications using low-code/no-code platforms.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical workflows and system logic.
- Coordinate with system vendors or developers for improvements and customisations aligned with organisational priorities.
- Perform testing, debugging, and optimization prior to deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of workflows, logic, and configurations.
- Identify and deliver automation, integration and optimisation opportunities within the existing technology stack.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and external systems when required.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in system administration, systems integration, or automation tools (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in application development, automation, systems implementation, or low-code development.
- Hands-on experience building applications using low-code/no-code platforms such as Bubble, Retool, FlutterFlow, OutSystems, Mendix, Webflow, Appsmith, or similar tools.
- Experience integrating APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical workflows and functional applications.
- Proven ability to independently manage projects and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of workflow logic, automation, and application architecture.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, databases, and data structures.
- Familiarity with native coding and scripting concepts (e.g., JavaScript, SQL, Python, or similar).
- Experience with deployment and hosting platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, Firebase, or similar.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or Power Automate.
- Strong visual presentation capability for workflows, wireframes, and system diagrams.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
- Strong analytical reasoning and structured troubleshooting.
- Communicates technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong visual and documentation skills (process maps, mockups, diagrams).
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and solutions-driven in a dynamic environment.
