Retail Operations Manager
Gingersnaps and Just G are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Retail Operations Manager who will oversee and lead the operations of multiple stores, ensuring operational excellence, strong sales performance, and exceptional customer experience across assigned branches.
This role is ideal for a passionate retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced fashion retail environment and has a strong background in multi-store operations, people management, and business development.
The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall performance and operations of multiple retail stores, ensuring achievement of sales targets, operational excellence, and consistent brand standards. The role leads and develops Area Managers and store teams to drive business growth, improve customer experience, strengthen inventory control, and enhance store productivity.This position works closely with cross-functional teams in merchandising, marketing, and creatives to ensure effective execution of business strategies and promotional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple retail stores within the assigned area
- Lead, coach, and develop Area Managers and store teams to achieve business goals
- Drive store sales, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Ensure consistent implementation of visual merchandising and brand standards
- Monitor store performance, sales trends, inventory movement, and operational KPIs
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and creatives for campaign execution and business initiatives
- Ensure high standards of customer service and overall customer experience
- Manage staffing, performance management, and people development initiatives
- Implement effective inventory control and loss prevention measures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, Marketing, or any related field
- With solid experience in retail operations, preferably handling multiple stores or areas
- Background in fashion, apparel, lifestyle, or retail industry is an advantage
- Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills
- Results-oriented with strong business acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, analytical, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to travel and do field work as needed
