General Accounting Analyst

Hybrid Set-up | Full-Time | Makati

Join our dynamic team at the White & Case Global Operations Center in Makati City as an Accountant. In this role, you will support global finance operations by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, performing reconciliations, and contributing to financial reporting and audit requirements across multiple entities.

You will also play a key role in process improvements, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 4 years of experience in General Accounting
• Background in BPO, shared services, multinational, or audit firm preferred
• Experience in account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy required
• CPA is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of GAAP; IFRS is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with financial systems (e.g., Elite 3E) preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Must be amenable to a hybrid work set-up and shifting schedules if required
• Must be amenable working on a Midshift and Hybrid set up (3x a week - Tues, Wed, Thurs).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and review Balance Sheet and P&L account analyses
• Perform reconciliations (Bank, VAT, Payroll, Fixed Assets)
• Post journal entries and adjustments based on analysis and audits
• Support monthly statutory invoicing and financial reporting

• Assist in internal and external audit requirements
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data

• Maintain and enhance reconciliation processes
• Create and update process documentation
• Support training initiatives for new hires and cross-functional teams
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with global teams on accounting activities
• Handle ad hoc tasks and reporting requirements from stakeholders
