General Accounting Analyst

The General Accounting Analyst is responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial records. The role ensures accurate recording of transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and supports the preparation of financial reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record journal entries in the accounting system
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist in the preparation of schedules for audits and tax filings
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Support the finance team in financial reporting and closing activities
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
• Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 1–3 years experience in general accounting or similar role
• Knowledgeable in accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
