Main Duties and Responsibilities
 I.  Master of Laws Program
  • Responds to queries from local and international applicants regarding the LL.M. and APMA programs (e.g., admissions, enrolment, etc.)
  • Addresses various requests and student inquiries on routine academic requirements (e.g., course loading, thesis requirements, graduation requirements, etc.) and coordinates with relevant University offices, as needed
  • Monitors course completion of students and requests for Master of Laws regalia for graduating students and for faculty members, as may be applicable
  • Provides other administrative and logistical support for the implementation of the Program
II. Internationalization Programs and Academic Linkages
  • Assists the Director for the coordination requirements with the Institute’s partner universities (both local and foreign) and other University offices, ensuring smooth implementation of academic linkages
  • Answers queries and provides information on possible internships for foreign students, including programs under the Ateneo Human Rights Center and Ateneo Law School’s partner agencies/ organizations
  • Gathers and provides essential information to partner universities on exchange student visa requirements, housing/accommodation arrangements, etc.
  • Coordinates with other University offices for matters pertaining to the development of interdisciplinary modules, courses, and seminar-workshops/
  • Provides administrative and logistical support necessary to the implementation of special projects with partners
III. Administrative Functions
  • Attends to inquiries and requests from stakeholders and visitors from various communication channels (e.g., face to face, online, phone, email), and coordinates the flow of information internally and with other offices concerned
  • Receives and records correspondences/packages and ensures that they are addressed and distributed to intended recipients in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Manages requesting, allocation, and utilization of budget pertaining to LL.M. program, international programs, and related projects, in coordination with the Director/ Coordinator
  • Maintains and tracks financial resources and prepares financial and liquidation
reports
  • Provides coordination and logistical support requirements for the Institute’s programs, classes, and projects as well as University/School-wide activities and events
  • Drafts letters, announcements, and correspondences of the office for review and approval of the Director
  • Gathers documents/materials and prepares necessary data summaries/reports for reference and use of the GLSI Director and the Coordinator
  • Conducts inventory of supplies, equipment, and other materials and coordinates with the Central Purchasing Office and/or external suppliers for procurement purposes

IV. Performs other duties as may be required by the immediate supervisor and/or

authorized representatives

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good oral and written communication skills (both in English and Filipino)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
  • Ability to multitask, comes to work on time, hardworking, and efficient
  • Systematic, organized, and attentive to details
  • Working knowledge of operating various office equipment

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1 year or relevant work experience
  • Work experience in an educational institution, an advantage
