About the role

We are seeking an Online Customer Support Agent to join the customer service team at GDV Business Services Co. This is a full-time position based in Tondo, Manila City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support across multiple channels including chat, email, and telephone calls.

You will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering responsive, professional, and solution-focused service on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities
  1. Respond to customer inquiries through chat, email, and telephone in a timely and professional manner
  2. Troubleshoot customer issues and provide effective solutions or escalate to appropriate departments when necessary
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions in the company system
  4. Handle multiple customer contacts simultaneously while maintaining quality service standards
  5. Provide product and service information to customers to support their purchasing decisions
  6. Process customer requests, complaints, and feedback with empathy and professionalism
  7. Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve complex customer issues
  8. Meet and exceed performance targets including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction metrics
  9. Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and provide suggestions to management
What we're looking for
  1. Proven experience in customer service, call centre, or related customer-facing roles
  2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally across written, verbal, and chat formats
  3. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to resolving issues
  4. Proficiency in using customer service software, ticketing systems, and communication platforms
  5. High level of patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence when dealing with diverse customer needs
  6. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  7. Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting customer interactions and information
  8. Reliable, professional demeanour with a commitment to maintaining service quality standards
  9. Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are advantageous
  10. Stable internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for conducting calls and customer interactions
