Role Overview:
The role is responsible for driving business growth through strategic expansion, strong market understanding, and effective relationship management. You will identify new opportunities, evaluate potential store locations, and support the company's long-term commercial objectives.This position requires someone who can balance analytical thinking with hands-on execution, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and represent the brand with confidence and clarity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential locations for new store expansion using strong commercial and market acumen
- Lead negotiations with landlords and leasing partners, covering rental rates, contract terms, and other commercial requirements
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company goals
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competition, and opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key external partners, stakeholders, and industry networks
- Manage client and partner communications with a focus on long-term relationship value
- Track sales metrics, prepare performance reports, and provide insights for business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation
- Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events
Qualifications:
- Business Development and Strategic Planning skills
- Minimum 5 years of business development experience required
- Market Research and Networking skills
- Client Relationship Management and Negotiation skills
- Experience in tracking and reporting sales metrics and performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the industry is a plus
- Electronics retail experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Strong commercial acumen for site evaluation and expansion decisions
- Experience negotiating lease rates and commercial agreements with leasing entities
