We are urgently in need of a (1) QA/QC ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) is preferred and may be required depending on the project.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in QA/QC, site engineering, construction, or a related position.
• Experience in building construction, residential development, commercial buildings, or real estate projects is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in construction materials, methods, testing procedures, and inspection requirements.
• Familiarity with approved construction plans, project specifications, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality control procedures.
• Knowledge of applicable construction standards, such as the National Building Code of the Philippines, relevant structural and material standards, and project specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, for preparation of reports and documentation.
• Good analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to conduct regular site inspections and fieldwork.
• Able to coordinate effectively with the top management, contractors, project engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders.

Job Description:

• Monitor and ensure that construction activities are performed in accordance with approved plans, drawings, specifications, approved materials, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of civil, structural, architectural, and related building works.
• Inspect delivered construction materials and verify that they comply with approved specifications and submittals.
• Review and monitor Material Submittals, Method Statements, Inspection Requests, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct inspections before, during, and after critical construction activities, including concrete works, rebar installation, formworks, masonry, waterproofing, architectural finishes, and other building works.
• Coordinate and witness required material testing and quality tests, including concrete testing and other applicable tests.
• Identify construction defects, deviations, and non-conforming works.
• Prepare and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) or other quality-related reports when necessary.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions and verify proper closure of identified deficiencies.
• Review and maintain quality-related documentation, inspection records, test results, photographs, and reports.
• Coordinate with the contractor and project team to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects.
• Conduct regular site quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with the project's Quality Management Plan.
• Prepare regular QA/QC progress and quality reports for the Project Manager or the developer's management.
• Assist in the monitoring of punch lists, rectification works, and final inspection activities.
• Ensure proper documentation of completed works for project turnover and closeout.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management.
