Mechanical Engineer

We're Hiring: MECHANICAL ENGINEER

• Ensure all mechanical works are executed in accordance with the latest approved construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Supervise and monitor the installation of mechanical systems and facilities by contractors and suppliers at the project site.
• Verify that all mechanical installations comply with approved technical specifications, material submittals, and consultant requirements.
• Oversee testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project owner and design consultant standards.
• Coordinate with project consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding design, construction, approvals, and technical concerns.
• Assist in the preparation of bid documents for project tendering and contract awarding.
• Review contractor and supplier billings and support the Quantity Surveyor in evaluating variation and change orders.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor construction progress against the project schedule, and recommend alternative construction methods or materials when necessary.
• Perform the duties of Safety Engineer, Materials Engineer, or Quality Control Engineer when designated, including:
• Ensuring compliance with site safety and security requirements.
• Witnessing material sampling and testing activities.
• Reviewing material submittals and samples prior to consultant approval.
• Ensure that all materials used meet approved quality standards and project specifications.
• Identify construction defects, prepare punch lists, and monitor corrective actions until completion.

• Registered and Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer in the construction industry.
• Experience handling high-rise building projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and sanitary systems, including installation and implementation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent design software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in construction management is an advantage.
• Willing to travel to project sites as required.
