Role, Purpose and Scope
- The Trainer supporting the Collections Center of Excellence (COE) will develop and deliver overview/orientation training for new hires, as well as new hire technical skills training for several aspects of the COE’s business.
- The Trainer will also be responsible for the development and delivery of new skill and/or process training as required across the COE.
- Will be expected to work closely with Operations and Operations Leadership to identify training needs as they develop and ensure employee skills are maintained to deliver a consistently positive customer experience and competent employee base.
- Contribute to operational goals as required.
- Support other COEs as required.
- University degree or studies underway preferable or 2+ years’ work experience in an operational environment.
- Advanced English skills, both written & verbal.
- Previous experience in curriculum development and training delivery preferable.
- Proven strong presentation and communication skills, including ability to prepare clear and effective presentation slides and documents.
- Attention to detail and ability to interact effectively with all staff and management levels.
- Moderate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to present and translate complex data into simple concepts as well as being able to learn new concepts quickly.
- Proven strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to coach and train individuals and groups.
- Skilled at delivering multiple priorities and effectively meeting deadlines.
- Flexibility to adjust to different tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Works with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's Degree
- MUST BE Fluent in English, both written & verbal
- 3 years of related experience in curriculum development and delivery (adult education or business) in BPO - preferred
- Must have Collections / Accounts Receivable (B2B) Training experience
- Experience managing multiple priorities
- Strong facilitation & change management skills
- Amenable to work Night Shift and work onsite in Mckinley Hill, Taguig
- Proven strong presentation and training delivery skills
- Ability to present and translate complex data into simple concepts
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills - preferred
- Proven strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to interact effectively with associate and management levels - preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) - preferred
- Collaborate with COE Leadership to define and maintain an organizational training strategy and implement training courses through effective coordination with internal resources and clients.
- Develop and document effective training materials and curriculum as needed in a range of media formats.
- Maintain existing curriculum to ensure training remains consistent, current, and accurate.
- Deliver curriculum for technical and soft skill training as needed.
- Incorporate methods of classroom and on-the job evaluation and well as training effectiveness measures.
- Maintain thorough understanding of Collections COE work processes, policies, and procedures.
- Work with onshore training organization to ensure desk level procedures are maintained current.
- Maintain functional procedure documentation; develop, update or restructure as the business process is modified.
- Facilitate and assist with the development of processes and functional checklists as needed by the business
