Work Setup: Full-Time | Onsite
Location: Cagayan de Oro City

Salary: ₱16,000 – ₱18,000 per month

Job Description

EduQuest Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our Finance Team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, recording financial transactions, monitoring payables and receivables, assisting with payroll, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, trustworthy, accurate with numbers, and capable of handling confidential financial information professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, payments, and other accounting entries.
  • Ensure all transactions are properly documented, classified, and encoded in the accounting system.
  • Process accounts payable and monitor accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and update financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and other related reports.
  • Assist in payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll-related records.
  • Assist in preparing financial data for tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding finance-related documents and requests.
  • Recommend improvements to bookkeeping processes for better accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, finance support, or a similar role.
  • Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial documentation.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and basic financial tracking tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information professionally.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work onsite in Cagayan de Oro City.
