An Auto/Motor Electrical Parts Custodian or CAR INSTALLER integrates aftermarket accessories or OEM components into vehicles. Responsibilities range from fitting mobile electronics (audio/alarms) to physical accessories (tint, wraps, body kits).They ensure safe operation and precise integration without compromising the vehicle's factory framework.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:- Component Assembly & Wiring: Safely mount and integrate hardware like GPS units, security alarms, audio systems, and dashcams.
- System Testing & Calibration: Inspect installations to ensure electronic and mechanical components work properly, including calibrating sensors to meet specifications.
- Reading Schematics: Interpret technical manuals, circuit diagrams, and blueprints to guide precise wiring and mechanical placements.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any malfunctions or electrical issues related to the newly installed systems.
- Customer Consultation: Explain accessory features, recommend upgrades, and instruct clients on how to use their newly installed equipment.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to industry regulations, wiring standards, and safety protocols to prevent damage to the vehicle's electrical system.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep tools clean, handle diagnostic equipment, and maintain an organized, safe garage or service bay
