International Freight Quote Specialist

About the Role

You will work onsite at our Cebu hub alongside our in-house IT engineering team, who will personally train and support you in applying Claude — our primary AI assistant — and Connectivity, our integrated AI workflow platform, to accelerate your output and sharpen every client interaction.

• Respond to inbound freight enquiries from clients across sea, air, and road modes — qualifying requirements, preparing competitive rate quotations, and converting opportunities into confirmed bookings
• Build and maintain a proactive sales pipeline by following up on quotes, identifying upsell opportunities, and developing long-term relationships with shippers, importers, and logistics managers
• Use Claude to draft, refine, and personalise quotation documents, sales proposals, and client correspondence — faster and more professionally than any traditional approach
• Leverage Connectivity to manage multi-carrier rate comparison, automate quote generation workflows, and keep clients informed through the entire shipment lifecycle
• Monitor active shipments for exceptions — delays, customs holds, carrier failures, misroutes — and coordinate rapid resolution directly with carriers and partners before clients are impacted
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM and TMS, using Claude to summarise interactions and generate follow-up actions automatically
• Collaborate with operations and account management teams to ensure seamless handover from sale to execution

• 2+ years in freight forwarding, logistics sales, or freight operations — with direct exposure to quotation processes for sea, air, or land freight
• A commercially minded communicator who can build rapport quickly and close with confidence
• Strong English written and verbal skills; professional client-facing presentation at all times
• Familiarity with freight rate structures, Incoterms, and basic customs documentation requirements
• Experience with CargoWise, Expedient, or similar freight management systems is a strong advantage
• No prior AI experience required — if you bring the freight knowledge, our engineers will equip you with Claude and Connectivity from Day 1
