Job Summary
The Building Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all building construction and renovation projects of Coral Agri-venture Farm Inc. The role ensures that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, engineering specifications, and government regulations.The Building Construction Manager will work closely with contractors, engineers, architects, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality construction projects that support the company's operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and supervise construction, renovation, and maintenance projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project schedules, work plans, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to prevent delays or budget overruns.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and approved plans.
- Review and approve contractor accomplishments, progress billings, and variation orders.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with the National Building Code, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, and other applicable government regulations.
- Evaluate contractor performance and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Prepare project status reports, budget updates, and completion reports for Management.
- Identify project risks and recommend practical solutions to minimize operational disruptions.
- Oversee project turnover, punch listing, and final acceptance of completed structures.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, permits, contracts, and engineering records.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- Licensed Civil Engineer is highly preferred.
- At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in building construction management, with supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, cost estimation, contract administration, and quality control.
- Familiarity with Philippine building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
- Proficient in ProjectLibre, MS Office, or other construction management software.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Willing to travel to project sites and company farm locations as required.
