Operations Supervisor
Supervise day-to-day fuel movements (Receiving, Storage and Loading) within the facility, ensuring operations are safely performed, equipment/assets are well maintained and external regulations are complied, while achieving the company/business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Client Communication and Relationship Management
○ Handle and communicate with terminalling clients, addressing their needs, inquiries, and
concerns professionally and promptly.
○ Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our services.- Setting and Achieving Targets
○ Establish team targets aligned with Corporate and BU KPIs, emphasizing client satisfaction and operational excellence.
○ Delegate tasks to team members, including yourself, to achieve set targets and meet client expectations.- Regulatory Compliance, Documentation, and Safety
○ Secure necessary permits for terminal operations, ensuring compliance with government laws and regulations.
○ Handle filing and payment of government fees on time.
○ Ensure all events are coordinated and executed professionally and safely, adhering to client expectations and regulatory standards.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred; other relevant education, training, or experience demonstrating required competencies will also be considered.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of depot operations, including methods, practices, equipment, and machinery.
- Knowledge and ability to implement and manage safety programs.
- Working knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions.
- Proven ability to train, supervise, and lead staff effectively.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, set priorities, and manage tasks efficiently.
- Experience in budget preparation and resource planning is an advantage.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001) is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as BOSH, COSH, LCM, or PCO are an advantage.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
