Customer Service & Compliance Officer| Mid-Shift| Onsite| Start ASAP
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service & Compliance Officer to join our growing e-commerce operations team. This role primarily focuses on marketplace compliance across international Amazon and eBay platforms while also supporting customer operations to ensure seamless order management and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Compliance (70%)- Monitor daily Account Health dashboards across international Amazon and eBay marketplaces
- Identify, triage, and resolve account violations and compliance issues
- Review Performance Notifications and policy violations, including:
- Restricted products
- Listing policy violations
- Product safety issues
- Intellectual property claims
- Draft and submit appeals to Amazon Seller Support when appropriate
- Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including:
- Environmental regulations
- Producer responsibility requirements
- Product safety laws
- Country-of-origin disclosures
- Manufacturer details
- Manage Brand Approval requests
- Resolve suppressed, inactive, or policy-violating listings
- Investigate aged FBA pending orders and coordinate with Amazon Seller Support
- Maintain detailed records of violations, tasks, and resolutions in Asana
- Manage customer support tickets, including order concerns and shipping updates
- Perform daily order cancellation checks
- Monitor pending orders, stock verification, and out-of-stock customer communication
- Process refunds and end-of-shift refund submissions
- Handle returns across Europe, US, and Canada returns portals
- Upload business customer invoices on Amazon
- Manage eBay Resolution Centre cases
- Track delayed or returned shipments and escalate where necessary
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential- Experience or familiarity with e-commerce or marketplace platforms
- Strong written English communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filtering, data extraction, reporting)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to interpret complex policy and compliance documentation
- Self-motivated with strong process discipline
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and SOPs
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central
- Familiarity with Amazon Account Health metrics:
- ODR
- Cancellation Rate
- IDR
- LSR
- VTR
- A-to-Z claims
- Customer service ticketing platform experience (Replyco, Zendesk, Freshdesk, etc.)
- eBay Seller Standards or Resolution Centre knowledge
- Knowledge of EU/UK compliance regulations
- Experience with returns portals
- Multi-marketplace e-commerce background
- Familiarity with shipping/order management systems
- ERP experience (Odoo or similar)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to independently assess compliance risks
- Good judgement on escalation priorities
