Accounting Specialist to support either our Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable function, depending on where their strengths best align.

What You'll Do:

Accounts Payable:

  • Invoice Management: Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness, entering them into the system timely.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements to the accounts payable ledger and resolve discrepancies.
  • Vendor Relations: Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any billing issues or disputes in a timely, professional manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare accounts payable aging reports to support month-end closing activities and provide valuable insights into outstanding balances.
  • General Support: Assist with other accounting duties as assigned to ensure smooth financial operations.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Collections: Manage and maintain accounts receivable for our business clients.
  • Dispute Management: Investigate and resolve billing disputes using technical skills.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collection activities, client interactions, and payment agreements.
  • Communication: Work closely with internal teams. Interact professionally with corporate clients and ensure smooth transactions.
  • General Support: Assist with other accounting duties as assigned to ensure smooth financial operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy/Financial Accounting, or any related field.
  • At least 2-3 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Collections experience (B2B collections, accounts receivable, or a related role.)
  • Proficiency with accounting software; knowledge of Business Central - Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Experienced working in a BPO environment; willing to work on a graveyard shift.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
  • Can be trusted with confidential information.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to different tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a computer/laptop and a strong internet connection at home to facilitate online screening and work-from-home arrangements when hired.
