Purchasing and Inventory Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing and Inventory Specialist to manage the procurement and inventory processes for our medical equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of medical equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels, and coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.

Job Description:

Procurement:

• Make sure all Purchase Order are supported by Purchase Request all the time
• Manage the purchasing of medical equipment and supplies from multiple suppliers, ensuring high-quality products at competitive prices
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, operations, and technical, to align purchasing decisions with market requirements

Inventory:

• Conduct monthly inventory of medical equipment and supplies with high level of accuracy
• Perform regular inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain accurate records
• Implement inventory control measures and streamline processes and enhance efficiency
• Generate inventory and procurement reports for management review

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate with at least 6 months of purchasing and inventory experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end purchasing process/functions, inventory and supply management system
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Can start ASAP
