QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is typically required, preferably in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
  • A comprehensive understanding of risk and insurance is essential.
  • A Master’s degree (such as an MBA with a concentration in risk or insurance) is not mandatory but may be advantageous for career advancement or leadership opportunities.
  • Candidates should be willing to undergo training and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Preferably male candidate for this position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

RISK MANAGEMENT
  • Confer/ consult with risk owners, functional managers, and other analysts to understand risk strategies, insurance program necessary to the company
  • Conduct / Assist Risk refresh session with various group
  • Perform / Assist New Employee Orientation
  • Conduct / Assist Risk Management Survey
  • Perform Risk Research as assigned by Department head/Immediate superior
INSURANCE MANAGEMENT
  • Maintain, modify & report risk & insurance management processes that assess the potential
  • Impact of risk & insurance programs on business issues, such as damage repairs, insurance costs, or potential disruptions of daily activities.
  • Assist / Coordinate with Adjuster for the schedule of inspection.
  • Coordinate with Insurer/Broker check available for pick up.
  • Prepare and monitor Insurance premium payment
  • Entertains follow-up from Internal and External Client and advise them on the status of the claim.
  • Maintains records of insurance policies and premium payments;
  • Assist in monitoring and follow-up of outstanding premium payment, if any.
OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTION
  • Communicate with internal / external client] to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders and address complaints.
  • Organize and filing documents:
  1. Label claims folder by the name of the assured, project, etc.

ii. Control, maintain, file & safekeep incoming and outgoing documents and

records (e.g. memos, letters, etc.)
  • Responsible for the requisition of supplies, furniture and equipment needed by the department.
  • Run some office errands as may require.
  • Performs other assignments or tasks from time to time as deemed necessary by the
  • immediate superior and department head.
  • Support and Drive Risk Management and Insurance Department initiatives
  • Immersion and cross functional assignment within the Department
