Sales Engineer

About the role

Based in our Makati City office, this full-time position will see you collaborating closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored technical expertise.

• Proactively generates leads through networking, cold calling, and other methods to attract potential clients.
• Conducts thorough research to identify prospective clients and key decision-makers.
• Establishes relationships with new clients to build long-term partnerships.
• Plans and organizes marketing events, including trade exhibits and promotional activities, as needed.
• Sets and monitors sales targets, providing continuous support to strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Assists in the development of compelling sales presentations and tailored proposals.
• Encourages existing clients to explore additional products and ensures repeat business.
• Prepares and submits professional proposals to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
• Responds promptly to client inquiries and schedules meetings as necessary to address their needs.
• Prepares and submits bids or quotations to entities concerned.
• Follows up on submitted quotations to ensure timely feedback and maximize closing opportunities.
• Effectively communicates product benefits to prospective clients and follows up to close business deals.
• Consistently meets or exceeds quarterly sales targets of PHP 1 million.
• Closes a minimum of two new client accounts per month.
• Prepares and delivers technical presentations to inform and educate prospective and existing clients about product offerings.
• Collaborates with clients and engineers to assess their equipment and supply needs.
• Works closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide comprehensive sales support.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Licensed Electrical Engineer is a must.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role
• Proven track record of successfully selling complex electrical equipment and solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify customer needs and propose optimal solutions
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
