Accounting Assistant
Job Summary:Provides support in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and general accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing invoices, payments, and collections.
- Monitor and update AR and AP records.
- Prepare billing documents, statements of account, and payment schedules.
- Record financial transactions and maintain accounting files.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of accounting reports and government compliance requirements.
- Perform data entry, filing, and other accounting-related administrative tasks.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the Accounting Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related course.
- Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or general accounting functions.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic background may also be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information.
