Accounting Assistant

Job Summary:

Provides support in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and general accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing invoices, payments, and collections.
  • Monitor and update AR and AP records.
  • Prepare billing documents, statements of account, and payment schedules.
  • Record financial transactions and maintain accounting files.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of accounting reports and government compliance requirements.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and other accounting-related administrative tasks.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the Accounting Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related course.
  • Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or general accounting functions.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic background may also be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information.
