• The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

• Prepare and review complex individual, company, partnership and trust tax returns
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Australian accounting standards
• Provide proactive tax and business advisory support
• Mentor and train junior accountants
• Review work for accuracy, compliance and quality
• Stay ahead of tax law changes and share knowledge with the team
• Identify and implement workflow and efficiency improvements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• What You'll Bring
• CPA (or equivalent) – required
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in public practice
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation
• 3-4 years of Australian tax experience is required
• Experience reviewing complex returns and financials
• Proficiency in Xero (highly desirable), MYOB, QuickBooks and MS Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines confidently
• Leadership experience mentoring junior staff
