About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing Officer who will lead the planning and execution of growth-driven marketing initiatives across basketball equipment, footwear, and basketball-related apparel categories.This role plays a key part in driving category growth, strengthening brand presence, and accelerating product sell-through across retail and digital channels. You will also contribute to building and elevating basketball culture through impactful campaigns, community activations, and strategic partnerships.
What You’ll Do- Lead and execute marketing initiatives that drive category growth, product awareness, and retail performance
- Support the development and growth of strategic brands, exclusive partnerships, and in-house product lines, including footwear and apparel
- Plan and execute major product launches, including basketball and footwear releases
- Develop and manage partnerships with athletes, creators, and community leaders, including affiliate program activation
- Lead grassroots initiatives such as tournaments, leagues, and community activations to strengthen basketball culture
- Execute retail marketing campaigns including in-store activations, window displays, and sneaker launches across multiple retail banners
- Collaborate with merchandising, visual merchandising, ecommerce, and store teams to ensure strong campaign execution and retail storytelling
- Support digital campaign amplification across platforms such as Meta and TikTok
- Monitor campaign performance and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders for smooth campaign execution and project delivery
- Leverage AI tools to enhance marketing ideation, planning, and overall productivity
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, or a related field
- At least 2–4 years of experience in marketing, brand, retail, sports, or events marketing
- Proven experience in executing marketing campaigns, product launches, or brand activations
- Working knowledge of digital marketing and paid media platforms (Meta, TikTok is an advantage)
- Familiarity with AI tools or generative AI platforms for marketing use is a plus
- Strong project management and execution skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for basketball, sneakers, and sports culture is highly preferred

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, or a related fieldAt least 2–4 years of experience in marketing, brand, retail, sports, or events marketing
Proven experience in executing marketing campaigns, product launches, or brand activations
Working knowledge of digital marketing and paid media platforms (Meta, TikTok is an advantage)
