IT Specialist (Manufacturing)

About the role

This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business and supporting our team to be productive and efficient.

1. Respond to and resolve IT support requests in a timely and effective manner
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
3. Provide end-user training and support on various IT systems and applications
4. Maintain and update IT systems, including installing and configuring software
5. Assist with the implementation of new IT initiatives and technologies
6. Collaborate with the team in performing regular maintenance task and other related matters
7. Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
2. Strong technical skills and knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
4. Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users
5. Experience with Windows and other operating systems, as well as common business applications
6. Experience in supporting and maintaining ERP platforms and manufacturing-related systems
7. Certification in IT support or related field would be an advantage
8. Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for helping others
