Civil Drafter (AU Construction, Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (07:00 AM-05:00 PM PHT)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- - Relevant tertiary qualification or diploma in Civil Design or related field
- Experience preparing civil design drawings for land development projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Civil 12D
- Working knowledge of Australian standards (AS/NZS 1170, AS 2159, AS 1742) and local council guidelines
- Ability to interpret survey data, engineering drawings, and geotechnical reports
- Basic understanding of civil design principles (stormwater, sewer, water, roads, and earthworks)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to escalate issues appropriately
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- - Prepare accurate civil design drawings for land development projects
- Ensure all outputs comply with Australian standards, codes, and council guidelines
- Interpret survey data, engineering plans, and geotechnical reports into drafting outputs
- Coordinate with engineers and senior drafters to clarify design requirements
- Maintain consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all drawings and documentation
- Deliver drafting outputs in line with project timelines and requirements
- Support project teams by providing drafting and technical input
- Communicate updates and progress clearly with internal stakeholders
- Participate in design reviews and assist in resolving drafting issues
- Identify drafting or design issues and escalate where necessary
- Conduct self-checks to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant
- Follow company drafting standards, templates, and procedures
- Keep up to date with relevant standards, legislation, and council requirements
- Contribute to small improvements in drafting workflows and processes
- Support implementation of tools, templates, and systems as directed .
