About the role

Our School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a full-time Social Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and enriching lessons to our secondary school students, helping them develop a deep understanding and appreciation of the social sciences.

• Plan and deliver comprehensive Social Studies lessons that cover a range of topics, including history, geography, economics, and political science
• Create and implement engaging, interactive, and student-centred learning activities to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic and personal growth
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to contribute to the overall development and improvement of the school's Social Studies curriculum
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and best practices
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all students

• A bachelor's degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in secondary-level Social Studies teaching, preferably in a similar educational setting
• Strong knowledge of the Philippine educational system, curriculum, and assessment standards
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with the school community
