Business Development Manager (Ocean Freight Forwarding)

Location: Taguig City, Philippines

We are seeking a driven hunter to expand our ocean freight forwarding business. This role is focused on new client acquisition, requiring a proven track record of closing large accounts (USD 70–80K monthly revenue per client) and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to operations handover.

This is not a farming role — it’s designed for ambitious professionals ready to pursue new business and grow into leadership opportunities.

• Generate leads and convert prospects into new business wins
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to maintain a strong pipeline
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for RFIs/RFQs
• Partner with operations to develop pricing strategies and RFQ responses
• Coordinate new customer onboarding and project implementation
• Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales and profit targets
• Conduct client visits, presentations, and commercial discussions
• Build long-term client relationships to ensure loyalty and repeat business

Experience:

• 5–8 years in 3PL, contract logistics, or freight forwarding sales
• Proven success in closing large accounts (USD 70–80K monthly revenue)
• Strong client network with ability to onboard significant revenue quickly
• Full-cycle sales experience (cold calling, negotiation, closing, operations handover)
• Hunter mindset focused on new business acquisition

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and transportation solutions
• Ability to influence decision makers and engage top management
