We are looking for a Healthcare Patient Advocate to join our healthcare support team. This role focuses on assisting senior adults with serious health conditions, ensuring they receive accurate information, compassionate support, and efficient coordination of care-related concerns.
As a Patient Advocate, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, delivering high-quality customer service while navigating healthcare insurance and patient care processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end customer support for senior adult patients with complex or serious health conditions
- Assist patients with healthcare insurance eligibility, benefits verification, and explanation of benefits (EOB)
- Address inquiries related to patient care, claims, coverage, and authorizations
- Advocate for patients by coordinating with healthcare providers, insurers, and internal teams
- Handle sensitive health-related information with empathy, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
Qualifications / Requirements:
- At least 12 months BPO experience in the Healthcare Industry
- Proven experience handling Senior Adult Care accounts, preferably involving serious or chronic health conditions
- Strong knowledge of:
- Healthcare Insurance Eligibility
- Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- Patient Care Advocacy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle emotionally sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
- Patient Care Advocate experience is highly preferred
