is looking for:
FOOD AND BEVERAGE ATTENDANT
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items and specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring appropriate presentation and timing.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any concerns or requests.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions following company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down tables for events, ensuring excellent presentation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery.
- Promote and upsell menu items, including specialty beverages and desserts.
- Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and signature drinks.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Participate in the training of new team members and provide mentorship.
- Handle special requests regarding dietary restrictions or allergies sensitively.
- Maintain knowledge of current food trends, wine pairings, and cocktail offerings.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean working environment.
- Engage with guests to foster a warm, inviting atmosphere.
- Support the housekeeping team by coordinating cleaning schedules for dining areas.
- Attend regular team meetings to discuss service improvements and menu updates.
- Assist in promoting the resort’s events and special offerings to guests.
Qualifications:
- With at least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or hospitality setting; fresh graduates with relevant training may also apply.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food and beverage service procedures, with a strong attention to detail and teamwork.
