Commercial Development Lead

We’re looking for a Commercial Development Lead to help grow Provill’s direct client world.

This role is a relationship-first, opportunity-hunting, conversation-starting kind. You’ll be opening doors with brands, agencies, artists, and decision-makers and then turning those conversations into real projects with real creative impact.

You’ll help position Provill as a go-to production partner for brands and talents.

You'll get involved in spotting opportunities, starting relationships, shaping partnerships, and making sure great ideas turn into booked productions.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Client & Partnership Acquisition
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with brands, corporate clients, and celebrities/artists
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of direct (non-agency) clients
  • Establish long-term partnerships that drive repeat business and retention
  1. Sales, Pitching & Deal Closure
  • Lead client outreach, presentations, and pitches
  • Develop tailored proposals in collaboration with internal teams
  • Negotiate and close deals aligned with revenue and profitability targets
  1. Relationship Management & Industry Presence
  • Build and maintain relationships with brand leaders, marketing teams, and talent managers
  • Represent the company at industry events, shoots, and networking opportunities
  • Strengthen the company’s positioning within the production and entertainment ecosystem
  1. Strategy Execution & Internal Collaboration
  • Execute the direct-to-client business development strategy
  • Work closely with Executive Producers to ensure a timely and smooth transition of clients into project execution phase
  • Ensure smooth handover from acquisition to delivery
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify new growth opportunities

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years in business development, partnerships, sales, talent management, or client-facing roles
  • Experience in production, media, advertising, entertainment, or creative industries is a big plus
  • Proven track record of actually winning new business (not just managing accounts)
  • A strong network across brands, agencies, marketing teams, or talent circles
  • Comfortable in fast-moving, creative environments where no two days feel the same
  • Good at reading people, building trust, and making things happen
  • Confident pitching ideas and closing deals without losing the creative spark
  • Naturally proactive, you don’t wait for opportunities, you go and create them
