Job Description

As a Remedy Developer, you'll be responsible for developing and customizing BMC Remedy and Helix-based applications, managing service catalogs, building system integrations, and ensuring stable system performance-all while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

• 3+ years of experience with Remedy App Dev
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong knowledge of BMC Remedy AR System and BMC Helix ITSM platform
• Hands-on experience with Helix Digital Workplace (DWP) development and configuration
• Proficient in using Remedy Developer Studio, including workflow creation, active links, and filters
• Familiarity with ITSM best practices and the ITIL framework
• Experience working with web services, including REST and SOAP APIs, and with relational databases such as SQL is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail

• Develop and customize applications using BMC Remedy and BMC Helix, including creating workflows, forms, and automation rules that support IT and business processes.
• Set up and manage self-service portals and service catalogs in BMC Helix Digital Workplace (DWP), allowing users to request services and track progress easily.
• Modify and enhance core ITSM modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, Asset Management, and CMDB to match company-specific requirements and improve service delivery.
• Create system integrations to connect BMC platforms with other tools or third-party systems using REST or SOAP APIs and middleware technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across different environments (development, testing, production) to ensure stability and performance.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, understand needs, and deliver practical, effective solutions.
• Support upgrades, patches, and deployments, ensuring new features or fixes are implemented with minimal impact to users.
• Follow development and security standards, while aligning with ITIL practices to support structured and reliable service management.
