Key Account Manager (Cosmetics/Personal Care Brands/FMCG)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and grow key retail accounts including Watsons, SM Group, Puregold, Waltermart, and other modern trade partners.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets, distribution goals, and category growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate annual business plans, trade terms, promotional activities, product listings, and commercial agreements.
  • Drive product visibility, availability, and execution across assigned accounts to maximize sell-through performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to implement in-store promotions, brand activations, and new product launches.
  • Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, stock replenishment, and forecast requirements to ensure optimal product availability.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, shopper insights, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers and present performance updates, sales strategies, and category recommendations.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and account support.
  • Manage trade investments, promotional budgets, and account profitability to maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, merchandising standards, and promotional execution across all assigned accounts.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Modern Trade Sales, or Business Development within the Cosmetics, Personal Care, Beauty, or FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience handling major retail accounts such as Watsons, SM Group, Puregold, Waltermart, and other modern trade channels.
  • Strong understanding of beauty, personal care, and consumer goods market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, driving account growth, and executing trade marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and account management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-oriented, self-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
