About the role

As a Wireless Optimization Engineer at COMMSEC INC.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless performance and efficiency of our telecommunications network across Central Visayas. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for analysing network data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing optimisation strategies to enhance the overall quality of our wireless services.

What you'll be doing

Continuously monitor and analyse network performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimisation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement network optimisation initiatives
Utilise advanced tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve network issues
Conduct regular site surveys and optimize antenna configurations to improve coverage and capacity
Develop and maintain documentation for network optimisation processes and procedures
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions
Provide technical support and training to field operations teams

What we're looking for

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in wireless network optimisation or a similar role
Proficient in using network analysis tools and simulation software
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex network issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in wireless network optimisation
Willingness to travel to various network sites as needed
