Drive Test Engineer / Analyst

DRIVE TEST ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Perform the drive test (according to project requirements)
• Ensure the test methodology and scenarios according to the process and instructions of the Team Leader.
• Follow the drive test route and meet the KPI target as well as collect full KPIs as required by specific testing and technology.
• Prepare necessary facilities for the test
• Solve arising problems during the test
• Manage test costs according to company regulations and budgets
• Make the test reports as required by the project
• Performs optimization if have poor coverage and do some antenna adjustment (with Rigger)
• Monitors Site Status before performing Drive Test Measures and Calculates Actual Site Physical Parameters
• Gathers and Analyzes data of WCDMA networks (Single Site Verification)
• Reports all the problems encountered in the Sites

Requirements:

• Preferably Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or Computer Engineering Graduate
• Open to fresh graduates
• Willing to undergo field training
• Must be willing for relocation anywhere in the Philippines
• Basic English Skills: can communicate simple conversations
• Can use Computer, have smartphone. Literate in Microsoft Outlook, Gmail and Webmail (google, yahoo) is a big advantages
• Perseverance and persistence, withstanding high work pressure.

DRIVE TEST ANALYST

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical consultation in radio network design and optimization to the bid teams, customers during pre-sales phase
• Deliver radio network design services for rollout projects.
• Deliver radio optimization services to achieve committed KPIs. Conduct services: Radio Network Performance Improvement, Radio Network Tuning and Optimization, Benchmarking to customer under the contracts between COMIT and customers. It includes below tasks but not limited to:
• Coverage, Neighbour Optimization
• Radio Parameter Analysis and Optimization
• Handover Parameter Check and Optimization.
• Neighbour Cell Parameter Check and Optimization.
• Access Parameter Check and Optimization.
• Power Control Parameter Check and Optimization.
• 4G/LTE & 5G Inter-operation Parameters.
• Other Radio Parameters Related to Improve KPI or Realize Special Requirement from Customer.
• Drive Test and Benchmarking Analysis and Report
• Deliver customer presentations, workshops and reports.

• University degree in telecommunications
• At least 2 years experience as Drive Test Analyst
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledge of LTE and 5G Advance standards, IP Networking, ATM concepts, Traffic Dimensioning
• Good interpersonal skills both towards customers and internally
• Excellent analytical and judgment skills
• Good written and oral skills in English
• Good computer knowledge
• Presentation skills (oral and written)
• Ability and willingness to work in teams
• Willing to relocate if required
