About the role

Gemar International Philippines Corporation is seeking an experienced HR/Admin Associate to join our dynamic team in Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our growing business. As an HR/Admin Associate, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR and administrative duties, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing
  • Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Providing administrative support, including managing schedules, organising meetings, and handling office supplies
  • Coordinating employee benefits and leave management
  • Assisting with the implementation of HR initiatives and programmes
  • Providing first-line support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of HR processes and systems
What we're looking for
  • At least 2 years of experience in a generalist HR or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset
  • A commitment to upholding confidentiality and maintaining a professional demeanour
