IT Specialist (POS Level 1 & Vendor Support)

The POS Level 1 & Vendor under our new business Sari Lotto (lottery) is responsible for acknowledging, supporting and resolving Point of Sales (POS) application technical related concerns. Role involves providing technical resolution regarding POS Handheld software functionalities and module features.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and prepare technical training materials and reference primarily based on POS Software functionality.
  • Facilitate presentations and training for CSSG related to technical aspects of POS and relevant Retail Management Systems functionalities.
  • Enable access by providing applicable permission level based on user type and Role.
  • Provide high- and low-level assessment, analysis and resolution to technical Point of Sale System.
  • Coordinate Point of Sales System technical problems and service support to higher level support to vendor and suppliers (Imin, Ardent).
  • Create and provide POS and other Retail Management System related documentation .
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations as per Management requirements.
  • Provide quick recommendations and solutions to resolve minor requests related to POS user interface, features and functionalities.
  • Assess, analyze and resolve tickets received related to POS other relevant Retail Management System Concerns.
  • Familiar with the overall functionality of POS and relevant Retail Management Systems.
  • POS accounts set up and configuration.
  • Manage publishing, firmware updates and upgrades.
  • Monitor POS device audit logs and reports.
  • Understand POS System and hardware requirements and user's manual documentation.
  • Facilitate and manage remote POS configurations.
  • Configure POS printing receipts and Wi-fi network communications setup.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in Retail Management System Specialist or relative role.
  • Experience with Imin/Ardent platforms is required for effective coordination with existing vendor systems.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Reporting Tools or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skils.
  • Excellent attention to details and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in e-commerce, gaming or technology industry is advantage.

Work Setup: Full-onsite
