Key Account Manager – Health and Wellness

Job Description:
This role focuses on building long-term partnerships with key accounts across food, supplements, pharmaceutical, and wellness product categories. Focuses on building long-term partnerships through strategic planning, collaboration, and a deep understanding of client needs.Accountable for meeting sales targets, analyzing market trends, and aligning with internal teams to drive growth and performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients in the health and wellness industry (e.g., food, supplements, pharmaceuticals).
- Serve as main point of contact for assigned health and wellness accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on wellness goals and product fit.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities for health products such as supplements, functional foods, or OTC items.
- Collaborate with internal teams including regulatory, R&D, and marketing to meet client needs and ensure compliance.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing within health and wellness market standards.
- Monitor account performance and ensure client satisfaction through KPIs.
- Promote health-focused product portfolio to clients, highlighting wellness benefits and compliance certifications.
- Understand customer behavior and market trends in the health sector.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in experience in account management or B2B sales (preferably in Health & Wellness or Pharmaceutical Industry)
- Knowledge on Retail Chain Management aside from health industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking and negotiation skills
- Analytical and well versed in creating sales report
- Above average skills in MS Excel
- CRM software proficiency (e.g., Salesforce)
- Knowledge of health industry
