Travel Program Manager (Procurement)

In support of this growth, our Procurement and Supplier Management (PSM) based San Diego, US through the Global Business Service (GBS) organization in Manila, Philippines is opening a Proc Ops Support Specialist position which will be the primary point of contact for managing and optimizing travel-related procurement activities and ensuring compliance with company policies and providing real-time assistance to end-users on procurement activities within the Coupa platform.
Where you come in:
- You will oversee and manage the travel inbox to ensure prompt responses and resolution of travel inquiries.
- You will manually approve travel requests in cases where the designated approver is unavailable.
- You will coordinate and assist the Sourcing Manager with sourcing requirements relevant to Travel category and negotiate favorable rates with Suppliers, as and when needed.
- You will collaborate directly with Balboa and other travel agencies to ensure traveler needs are met efficiently.
- You will work closely with internal partners to assess and define travel requirements.
- You will act as a liaison between employees and travel service providers.
- You will Support bid process and contribute to contract development.
- Live Support Resolution
- Provide immediate assistance to users during procurement transactions in Coupa.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to requisitions, purchase orders (PO), invoicing, and supplier onboarding.
- Escalate technical issues to Coupa support or internal IT teams as needed.
- You are able facilitate procurement training sessions for stakeholders to ensure understanding of policies, processes, and best practices.
- You will develop and update user manuals, FAQs, and training materials for Procurement.
- You will partner and collaborate with Third Party Consultants to identify, analyze, and resolve Coupa system challenges.
- You will Support user onboarding and access provisioning, including role-based permissions.
- You will Partner with Procurement, Finance, AP, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions.

- You are fluent in English and possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey messages confidently and decisively at all levels of the organization.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can confidently and can convey ideas clearly, confidently, and effectively across all levels of the organization.
- You are familiar with travel booking systems and procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, Concur)
- You have a strong end-to-end procurement background, with extensive training in procurement management. Preferably with Strategic Sourcing background.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Coupa modules (Procure-to-Pay, Invoicing, Supplier Management).
- You have extensive experience with business applications, including ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and eProcurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Coupa), with added familiarity in Third-Party Risk Management and Contract Lifecycle Management systems
- You are proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), project management tools like Smartsheet, Flowchart software and Process mapping tools.
