Trade Marketing Manager

We are a fast-growing startup in the FMCG industry, looking for a Trade Marketing Manager who will drive in-store execution and retail partnerships to strengthen brand presence and boost sales.
This role will focus on building strong relationships with key retail partners (e.g., drugstores, supermarkets, and specialty stores), ensuring our products are strategically placed, well-promoted, and effectively represented in-store. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of negotiating partnerships, executing campaigns, and analyzing performance to continuously improve trade marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to increase product visibility and sales across retail channels
- Build and manage partnerships with key accounts (e.g., Watsons, supermarkets, convenience stores, and other retail outlets)
- Coordinate with retailers for product listings, shelf placements, and promotional activities
- Plan and implement in-store campaigns, activations, and merchandising initiatives
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment of campaigns and product availability
- Monitor and analyze sell-through, ROI, and campaign performance
- Negotiate trade deals, display placements, and promotional support with partners
- Ensure consistent brand execution across all retail touchpoints
- Manage budgets related to trade promotions and in-store activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 2–5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably in FMCG
- Strong experience in handling retail accounts (e.g., Watsons, SM, Mercury Drug, etc.)
- Proven track record in executing in-store marketing campaigns and partnerships
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and campaign data
- Highly organized with strong project management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Willing to do fieldwork and coordinate directly with retail partners
- Experience launching products in retail stores
- Background in beauty, personal care, or consumer goods
- Existing network with retail buyers and partners
