Process engineer

Job Description

• Provide a quotation for metal parts based on the customer's drawing
• Know well processes such as CNC machining, stamping, electronical plating
• Work out working instruction for each process
• Optimize processes to guarantee quality and efficiency
• Analyze customer 2D/3D drawings and specifications to swiftly design accurate production workflows, encompassing CNC machining, stamping, electroplating, and other precision manufacturing processes.
• Conduct meticulous cost accounting, including material costs, process fees, tooling expenses, labor costs, and other associated costs, to prepare competitive and precise quotes for clients.
• Lead the rapid development of samples: coordinate with the production team to prioritize sample fabrication, ensuring efficient turnaround while adhering to technical requirements.
• Perform thorough sample inspections using professional measuring tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres, CMM) to verify compliance with drawing dimensions and quality standards.
• Ensure on-time delivery of qualified samples to clients, providing clear technical explanations and follow-up support during the quoting and sample approval stages.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments (engineering, production, purchasing) to optimize processes, resolve technical bottlenecks, and update cost databases for improved quoting accuracy.

• Qualifications:
• Top 10 university in Philippines, bachelor major is related mechanical engineering technology
• Above 5 years of exprience for process engineer
• Age: 28-40
• Experienced in preparing quotations based on customer drawings
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Quote Engineer in the precision hardware and machinery processing industry (non-negotiable).
• Expertise in cost accounting for precision machining, with the ability to quickly and accurately calculate total costs based on technical drawings and process requirements.
• Profound knowledge of core manufacturing processes: CNC machining (milling/turning), stamping, electroplating, and familiarity with auxiliary processes (e.g., grinding, deburring, assembly).
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex 2D/3D technical drawings (CAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and translate them into feasible production plans.
• Proven experience in sample production management, including coordinating resources for fast sample fabrication and proficient use of measuring instruments to validate sample quality.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for effective interaction with international clients and internal teams; Filipino language proficiency is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and capable of working under tight deadlines with a strong sense of responsibility.
