Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quantity and cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for civil engineering projects
- Monitor and control project costs throughout all project phases, from planning to completion
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering studies to optimise project expenditure
- Manage contractual matters, including contract administration, variations, and claims processing
- Perform regular cost reconciliation and prepare financial reports for project stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost tracking and budget adherence
- Conduct site inspections and measurements to verify work completion and material quantities
- Maintain detailed records of all project costs, variations, and contractual documentation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures throughout project execution
- Prepare progress reports and cost forecasts for senior management and clients
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- With License is an advantage
- Fresh graduate to 3 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of construction cost management, contract administration, and procurement processes
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to prepare accurate bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and civil engineering standards
- Experience with construction projects in the Philippines is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
